What are Hidden Scent beads made of?
Hidden Scent beads are made from traditional Chinese herbal incense formulas, finely ground into powder, blended with a natural plant-based binder and then cold-compressed into beads by hand.
We do not use plastic or resin cores – each bead is formed from herbal materials only.
How long does the scent last? Is it like perfume?
Hidden Scent beads are not perfume. They are "Cold Condensation" incense. The scent is subtle, elegant, and private—designed for you, not the whole room.
Activated by your body heat, the aroma lasts for 1-2 years and evolves over time. When not in use, store them in the sealed box to preserve the "Qi".
Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
Please avoid water and oils.
Our beads are crafted from 100% natural herbal powder and tree resin with a clay-like texture, containing zero chemical glue. Water, sweat, and oil-based products (such as lotions or perfumes) will damage the structure and scent. Please remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, applying skincare, or washing dishes. Treat it like a precious silk garment.
What if the bracelet doesn't fit my wrist?
No need to worry. Every order comes with a Complimentary DIY Adjustment Kit (extra elastic string, needle, and spare beads).
You can easily resize the bracelet at home to fit your wrist perfectly. A video tutorial is included in the package.
Why does shipping take longer than usual?
We do not stock mass-produced items. Each bracelet is hand-rolled and "awakened" (Yin-dried) upon your order to ensure the scent is fresh and potent.
Please allow 3-5 business days for our artisans to prepare your piece before shipping. Good things take time.
Where are your products manufactured?
Every Hidden Scent piece is hand-crafted in our own workshop in China by artisans preserving the lineage of traditional cold-condensed incense — a craft rooted in over a thousand years of Chinese incense culture. All steps, from selecting and grinding the herbs to forming, drying and polishing the beads, are completed in-house.
